Human resource
Development

We nurture the power of each and every employee to develop our business.

In order for a company to continuously develop its business, it is essential for each and every employee to improve their abilities and maximize their potential. In order for our employees to continuously improve their abilities, we have not only built an educational system, but also established various systematic educational curricula and systems for self-improvement, such as e-learning.

Improving Skills and Techniques

Central Training Center

The Central Training Center provides classroom-based training where employees can acquire specialized knowledge in areas such as rolling stock, facilities, and machinery, as well as human skills such as coaching junior staff.

Further Technical Skills Improvement

We also actively participate in in-house competitions, the National Skills Competition, and various other skill competitions, where employees compete with each other to mutually improve their skills. An in-house competition (Technology Challenge) is held every year, where mainly young employees compete with each other to acquire various technician qualifications. We also actively participate in external skill competitions (such as the National Skills Competition and various national welding technique competitions) to improve our technical skills.

Improvement Activities and Business Research

We work on a variety of themes, from operational improvement activities to product development with an eye on the future.

Improvement Activities

Employees voluntarily set work-related issues as their themes and engage in group activities to improve them. Groups that have made particularly outstanding efforts participate in internal and external debriefing sessions to report their results.

Business Research

We set themes that are not confined to existing operations, such as safety and quality improvement, energy saving, cost reduction, and development of new technologies, and engage in research and surveys.
